I'm reading this book about a guy called Limonov. I picked it up form our bookshelf.
I think we got it as a present from a friend but I wasn't really intrerested in the story. The thing is that at first I thought it was just a book about a rather crzay guy (fictional).
But a long the way I found out that the book was a biography about Limonov who is at the moment a political leader in Russia (of a shady fascist party).
So as much as I dissaprove his ideas, his life and the things he did intrigue me. I also fully understand why Emmanuel Carrere is fascinated by him and wrote this book. Limonov's life is also a view from a different angle on USSR history.
So are you looking for a fast good read?
